The 3D Toy Factory - Mini-Makers Adventure 1st-2nd

Does your child love to draw, build with blocks, or invent their own characters? Welcome to the 3D Toy Factory, a hands-on creative camp designed specifically for the youngest engineers!

Using Tinkercad, a kid-friendly 3D design tool, students will transform their wildest ideas into physical objects. We believe that 3D modeling shouldn't be intimidating. Our curriculum is built on a ""Flat-to-3D"" philosophy: we start with simple digital drawings and gradually move into building complex, multi-part structures.

Your child will learn:

• The Magic Scribble: Turning 2D drawings into 3D shapes.

• The Hole-Maker: Learning how to cut and carve shapes like a digital sculptor.

• The Gravity Lift: Mastering the ""Z-axis"" to stack parts and build vertically.

• Precision Scaling: Learning how to size objects to fit their own fingers or backpacks.

Equipment needed:

Please have your student bring a fully charged Chromebook to each after-school enrichment session. We use it for activities and projects, and it helps everyone participate smoothly. Thank you for your support!
